Daily I breathe
Daily I breathe
When I wake up
I drag myself up
I look up
To the only place, I can
Strength drained
I cry out for help
Only from above
Where my solace comes from
My hope lost
My heart crushed
My soul deadened
Yea right in the valley
Of shadows of death
Violated and laid bare
Naked
I am not alone
Yeah I cannot see any other
In the depth of my being
I know
My help comes
Always I drink from the cup
I will breathe again today
I will live again today

Father, I pray You uphold me this day. Keep me strong to do what needs to get done today. Strengthen my weaknesses. Inspire me. Be my motivation. I can do this ONE more day. I can live again. Thank you

Darlene, I have so enjoyed these poems and writings this month. So heartfelt and tender. Love it! Pray for us as we leave for Japan on Monday to see Daniel and family. We will also see Tazuko, a Japanese woman who used to live in San Diego and we met her at CBC. She moved back to Japan about 5 years ago. We are taking Skyler (Andy’s son) with us. It was our graduation gift to him. Love you, Barb
