Hello Everyone,

I want you to know that I am thinking about you, and I hope you are adjusting to the day by day changes the world is experiencing due to the impact of the 2019-20 coronavirus pandemic.

Like with the event of 911, our lives will not be the same again, and at this point, we can’t give ourselves the comfort of an expectation (s) because we have no idea about the change(s) we will face.

Most of all, I don’t want anyone to lose HOPE. God, the Great I AM, is in control, and I know some are struggling with this fact, but nevertheless, it is true. He is in control, and I am glad. Because if man was in power or could make the final decision, it would indeed be a nightmare with no end in sight.

I volunteer for the Crisis Text Line as a crisis counselor two days per week. My heart breaks at times; because of the pain, I hear as it makes its way through the text. The virus only adds another layer to an already uncertain situation “I don’t know what I’m going to do or all I need is just one more thing ….”

As a crisis counselor, you scramble for words to bring calm to an unpredictable moment. At the end of the chat, you hope, and you pray that all is well.

In Faith

As I close, I want to close with this prayer.

My prayer:
Father, this is my petition to thank you for the hope and love I have that comes in the love you show us through your Son, Jesus Christ. I thank you for the grace and mercy you give every day.
Father, you said in Psalm 91: verses 14 through 16 MSG,If you’ll hold on to me for dear life,” says God, “I’ll get you out of any trouble. I’ll give you the best of care if you’ll only get to know and trust me. Call me, and I’ll answer, be at your side in bad times; I’ll rescue you, then throw you a party. I’ll give you a long life, give you a long drink of salvation!”
Lord, to be honest, even with your words of assurance, I don’t know how we will come through this pandemic, but I am convinced you can do EXCEEDINGLY and ABUNDANTLY more than I can imagine.
So, Lord, I offer up this petition in the name of Your Son, and my Savior, Jesus Christ. Lord, make it so, please make it so!

In His Presence,
