The October 2020 Project

Greetings Everyone,

We hope you are healthy and safe during these strange days and times of 2020.

As agreed to by Domestic Violence Agencies

As you know, October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month recognized each October through educational events, community gatherings, and support groups. In 2018, the Domestic Violence Awareness Project developed a unified theme: #1Thing. The purpose of this campaign is to remind everyone that ending domestic violence starts with just one small action, whether that is seeking help or sharing resources.

We do things a little differently,

The goal for And He Restoreth My Soul Project for October was to be 2020 and Marriage. But that goal quickly grew, becoming an urgency to include issues we all might be going through.

If nothing else, 2020 is providing a panoramic view of who we are as human beings and it is not necessarily a view we like. Nevertheless, good or bad, we are experiencing life in “a pandemic age.” Learning and listening to others will be how we can navigate through these new and challenging times.

And He Restoreth My Soul Project’s deepest desire is to give Hope in a time when Hope seems distant or lost. Support during times when the foundation once trusted is moving, shaking, or might be crumbling beneath our feet.

The October Project comes with inspiration to move you toward one more day and inspire you to stand in confidence. If we can help you to accomplish these, we will meet the urgency we felt when we first began.

We look forward to your comments and questions.

I will close with the following verse!

Isaiah 41:10 (NASB) ‘Do not fear, for I am with you;
Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, surely I will help you.
Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'

In His presents
