The Start of 2021 Hope, Grace, and Mercy
God, I thank you that I still have enough of my mind to say thank you! You walked with me through the shadowy and sometimes darkest times of my life. In my shame, I could feel you holding me, speaking gently to my heart; beloved, I’m here no matter what I the LORD can wash you white as snow. And through it all, You brought me to a place of a grateful heart filled with gratitude. Lord, 2020 is year we soon will not forget. But you gave grace, mercy, and hope.
God Almighty, we are counting on the same promise you made to Joshua for 2021.
Joshua 1: 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD, your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Lord, You know the battles your children fight on a daily bases. You see the terror many are still living through. Father, it is at those time we need to know, You Lord are real.
You know we have a hard time; when a word, smell, or the color of one’s skin triggers us and jerks us back to the past. These are the times when You, Lord step into our history and reveal to us that you were there all the time! And this is when you begin to take scary out of fear!
God, the Great I AM, this is my prayer for those who may yet be in the crossfire of 2020.
The enemy claims darkness filled with violence and hopelessness to be his own domain.

We hold you to the principles held in Joel 2:25
“I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten.”
In the midst of darkness and disappointment, God promises to redeem us, restore us, and refine us. This is a promise we must hold and believe in our hearts.
As I end this petition Lord, I thank you for answered prayer and the peace that comes through grace. In the Awesome and Mighty name of Jesus Christ, Make it so Lord, Lord please Make it so! Amen!
