2021 Black History Project
In addition to writing, Speaking is a significant component of my ministry. To equip and encourage myself. I looked to the African American women who gave memorable speeches during their time.
I had no idea what I would find as I looked back in time. A time when women, Black and White, had to fight for some of the rights we enjoy today.
The African American women spoke out during a pivotal time of unease in American history. They fought for freedom, education, and employment, some might say the right to be who they were and live in peace. Yet, I see the intensity of that same fight remains today!
I wanted to share a few of the African American women who stirred my heart with their words. Women who found no shame in their fight and desire for change.
Their words are the legacies left for us to hear, learn, and remember that the fight was not selfish. It was for the common Good of Black Americans.
I hope you enjoy the 2021 Black History Project, and I look forward to hearing your comments.
My sincere thanks for your following!
