Sustaining Hope

And He Restoreth My Soul Project’s theme for 2021-22 is “Sustaining Hope.”

The definition of Sustaining is:

  • providing physical or mental strength or support.

Here at And He Restoreth My Soul Project, we know there are times when we all may feel lost. We understand the darkness that creeps into our lives when we least expect it. We know when feeling hopeful seems so far away that it seems to have disappeared. Or we are teetering on the edge of the abyss.

Staying in a hopeful place takes physical and mental strength and others who love and believe in us.

And He Restoreth My Soul Project’s plan:

We want to provide information that will help you to preserve and defend the Hope you have. Please know you are not alone in this journey of Sustaining HOPE.

The writers who joined this project want to help through:

  • Sharing their own stories about their plight of Sustaining Hope.

  • Sharing encouraging information that they’ve learned and depend on in life.

  • And some of the articles are from the past about HOPE, I thought they might be helpful.

The Sustaining Hope Project is our way of following through with;

1Thessalonians 5:11 (NASB) “Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.”

And believing

Jeremiah 29:11 (NASB) For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Sustaining Hope takes inward strength; it is not wishful thinking. Hope gives birth to renewed strength and infuses life into our hearts, minds, and souls. We don’t fare well without Hope.

My question to you throughout the next few weeks is:

Who are you trusting with your Hope? Please know this will make a huge difference in your life!
