Why I write dialogue
If you’ve been a reader of my blog for some time, you know, I will write a dialogue between two opposing minds of thoughts or self-talk. I think these kinds of conversations may help us hear our hearts, identify what we hear, and encourage us to see where we can change. I started thinking about writing dialogue after reading Screw Tape Letters by C.S. Lewis. It is an exhausting type of writing because you endure thinking about the negative voices we hear and often believe and positive voices we don’t always accept facing. You and I are in a battle, and these conversations demonstrate the seriousness of the fight.
Selfishly, this writing helps yours truly as much as I hope it will help and/or enlighten you!
Worthless and Precious is a two-part article. Part one introduces Worthless and how he believes he wins. Part-two is Precious, who is from God who encourages change that is real and true.
